At ALAS, we believe that culture is medicine, and our new Wellness Cultural Arts Center now truly reflects the vibrant heart of the community that sustains the San Mateo Coastside. We recently gathered with neighbors, local leaders, and our beloved farmworker families to officially inaugurate the stunning new mural that wraps our building. Filled with bright colors and deeply rooted cultural symbols, this artwork stands as a daily reminder of our shared strength and an open invitation for everyone to feel at home.
