During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ayudando Latinos A Soñar (ALAS) used grant funding from Silicon Valley Community Foundation's Regional Nonprofit Emergency Fund to provide critical support to farmworkers and undocumented immigrants. The Regional Nonprofit Emergency Fund, a part of SVCF's COVID-19 regional response effort, provided emergency support grants to help nonprofits in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties sustain and strengthen their operations at a time of great need.
