We couldn’t think of a better time to introduce many of those who complete our extensive ALAS familia than during Hispanic Heritage Month!
In the next few weeks, we will introduce you to numerous members of our ALAS familia via our Yo Soy ALAS campaign. It's our goal to recognize many of those who work with us behind the scenes as well as on the frontlines day in and day out through this long overdue initiative.
We are optimistic that it will encourage you to look further into ALAS, who we are, what we do, how we impact our community, and most importantly that inspires you to get involved with us in some capacity.
ALAS was born out of the community coming together to embrace a mission to celebrate culture, root care with justice, and honor each individual and family we work with. Over the years so many have contributed their love and time to make ALAS the nonprofit of the year! We began with a determination for change and our work continues forward because of all who champion us forward.
We are always looking for more volunteers, allies, advocates, sponsors, donors, and champions. We look forward to welcoming you to our familia!
